Alceon Group has announced the Victorian location for the state's first Lego certified store, revealing that the store will open in Westfield Doncaster in late 2019.
The store will open as a custom-built, interactive retail space which incorporates elements seen in other certified stores including 3D models and mosaics inspired by local icons.
Alceon Group executive director Richard Facioni said that Victoria is a key state for the Lego brand.
"Victoria is home to one of the country’s largest Lego fan communities and, as a result, a strategic priority for our growth.
"We look forward to unveiling a truly world-class retail experience at Westfield Doncaster, as the first of a number of Lego certified stores planned for Melbourne.
"We’ve worked closely with The Lego Group to create a retail experience that showcases the creativity, innovation and enduring appeal of the Lego brand.
"We are delighted in the market response to date," he said.
The news follows the announcement of a second New South Wales store to open in Broadway Shopping Centre later this year.
