U. Games Australia is gearing up for its biggest year yet! 2020 will bring exciting new media platforms, licenses, board game developments and a completely fresh look for the business.

In January, the University Games Corporation introduced ‘UG Studios’, a livestreaming, high-octane content channel dedicated to games and puzzles.

The YouTube channel will have UG correspondents in San Francisco, London and Sydney and offer a series of interviews, game reviews and demos to avid game players and buyers around the world.

At the Australian Toy & Hobby Licensing Fair in March, visitors will have the opportunity to preview the year ahead, including bestselling games Stupid Deaths and 5 Second Rule and the latest board game development Hard Quiz, adapted from the highly popular Australian TV quiz show.

With a focus on fun and learning through exploratory, unplugged play, U. Games Australia will also be expanding their games, puzzles and science range.

In March, the company will release Dog Man Attack of The Fleas, a cooperative board game based on the bestselling book series by Dav Pilkey, author of Captain Underpants.

STEM will also be a core focus for the company, with key brands Wild! Science and National Geographic offering quality science kits to create an authentic learning experience for children.

The company is also looking forward to showcasing new developments in their preschool brands First 100 and The Wiggles.

Andrew McCosker, newly appointed Managing Director of U. Games Australia, is looking forward to an eventful 2020.
