Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants has been popping into Aussie's virtual chats to bring a smile to people's faces.
The famous yellow sponge has so far popped in to see children at The Royal Children's Hospital, a prep class at Dromana Primary School and paramedics and their families from Ambulance Victoria.
September marks six months since Australia moved to a remote working and learning environment in an effort to combat the spread of COVID-19.
To help bring some joy back into virtual calls, SpongeBob has been popping into the chats every Friday since 18 September and will conclude the pop-ups on 02 October.
Once SpongeBob enters the chat, he gives a five minute performance to those on the call.
Nickelodeon Australia is taking pop-in requests for SpongeBob via a dedicated website.
