Visitors to Sea World at Australia Park can look forward to the splendours of Nick Land, a new multi-million dollar attraction featuring Nickelodeon’s best-known characters when it opens later this year.
Nickelodeon Land will include four new kid-friendly rides and feature Sea World’s first-ever mini rollercoaster.
The new attraction will be an extension of Nick’s existing partnership with Sea World that includes a Dora live show, Nickelodeon character appearances and a Nickelodeon-branded retail store.
Nick Land at Sea World is the third major investment Village Roadshow Theme Parks has made in children’s attractions over the past 12 months in Australia, and is also Nickelodeon’s second major VRTP launch in the two years.
“Nickelodeon Land is going to be our family area filled with fun and entertaining attractions, including Sea World’s first ever mini rollercoaster and some of our guests’ favorites, like the iconic carousel,” Bikash Randhawa, Sea World general manager said.
“This new multi-million dollar precinct will also be the hub for our Nickelodeon character appearances and shows, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dora the Explorer and Boots.
“Nickelodeon Land is an exciting opportunity to expand our family entertainment offering at Sea World and overall recreation business in Australia,” Gerald Raines, Nickelodeon Recreation Partnerships global SVP said.
“It is an attraction that will provide an all-encompassing Nickelodeon experience that the entire family can engage in and enjoy.”
