Spielwarenmesse has announced a new supervisory board chairman in the wake of the annual general meeting (AGM).
Axel Kaldenhoven was elected to the position after Hans Ulrich Remfert retired from the job. Thomas Mersch remains as the vice-chairman of the board.
“I would like to thank my colleagues for placing their trust in me and I look forward to our representing the interests of our cooperative whilst keeping the ever-changing market firmly in our sights,” Kaldenhoven said.
Beate Becker, Frank R. Schneider and Britta Sieper stood for re-election and were all successful. The board is rounded out by Paul Heinz Bruder, Hans Jörg Iden, Dr. Rainer Noch, Uwe Weiler and honorary members Volker Sieper and Dieter Hahne.
The number of members on the supervisory board was reduced from 10 to nine. The Speilwarenmesse AGM was held on 4 May.
