Megan Reay departs Mattel
Megan Reay, former Mattel Asia Pacific business development director.
Mattel’s Asia Pacific business development director, Megan Reay, announced her resignation from the toy maker yesterday in an email circulated to the company’s staff and business contacts.
Reay, who joined Mattel six years ago and was appointed to her outgoing role in August last year, is leaving to pursue new opportunities in consumer psychology as director of research for Latitude Insights.
Although a successor to her role has not been announced at the time of writing, it is likely her position will be absorbed into other roles as part of Mattel’s internal re-organisation and ongoing growth strategy.
Amanda Allegos remains as marketing director with Tracey Hutson overseeing Girls’ Toys, Tim Wood handling Boys’ Toys and Melissa O’Sullivan managing the Infant and Preschool sector.
Reay’s final day in the role will be Friday, 22 June.
