Johnco has picked up Belgian puzzles and games brand Scratch Europe.
The business has introduced 25 SKUs to the Australian market, consisting of puzzles, games and active play toys.
Johnco director Steve Ball told Toy & Hobby Retailer that the business is thrilled to expand its product offering into puzzles and games.
"Up until the introduction of this brand, Johnco has offered very few puzzles, games and active play products.
"Therefore, the Scratch Europe range will help to further round out our current offering while also providing our retailers with enhanced buying options.
"We have a focus on offering unique educational products and we believe this range fulfils that criteria perfectly," he said.
Ball added that the business was drawn to Scratch Europe because its values align with those of Johnco.
"Scratch Europe is a family owned and operated business with play and learning at the forefront of their design process.
"This really resonated with us at Johnco as we strongly believe that educational toys should be engaging, innovative and fun.
"We could envisage how much fun children and families here in Australia would have with the Scratch Europe products and how well it could fit with many of our customers' ranges in store," he said.
All Scratch Europe products are designed in Belgium and are currently available in over 30 countries worldwide.
