HeadStart to distribute K'Nex from 2013
HeadStart will commence distribution of K’Nex construction toys from January 2013.
HeadStart director Andrew Hendy told Toy & Hobby Retailer he is excited about the brand moving under the HeadStart umbrella and seeks to capitialise on the growth of the construction toy sector.
“As a company, we have always looked for long-term brands that we can build and promote, so we were delighted when they approached us earlier this year with a view to taking over distribution,” said Hendy.
“The K’Nex brand is a US family-owned company with a lot of heritage and has enjoyed a lot of success in Australia and around the world. The product already has a good business in both the mass market and independent trade and we see a lot of room for growth in both distribution channels,” he said.
