Lego Duplo Stories are now available to Aussie consumers, via Amazon Alexa devices.
The partnership between Lego and Amazon's Alexa device sees Alexa tell children stories which they can play along with.
“We are excited to be utilising technology to transform how Australian families with young children create and connect together with this new addition to the expanding Lego portfolio that blends integrated physical and digital play experiences,” Angie Tutt, senior director, head of marketing at Lego ANZ said in a statement.
There are 10 themes of stories to choose from and they are designed to help children develop their constructive, exploratory and role-play skills.
“Voice is such a powerful tool for play as it is one of the most human ways of interacting. Long before we can type, read or control a device, we listen and speak,” James Poulter, head of emerging platforms and partnerships, the Lego Group said.
The Duplo Stories announcement comes days after Amazon announced Prime Day in Australia.
