The Australian Toy Association has announced that it has postponed its annual Mid Year Preview show to 2021.
The Sydney-based show was set to take place in June this year, however with the uncertainty surrounding the persisting impacts of COVID-19, including domestic travel, indoor gatherings and social isolation, the ATA has decided to postpone the event to Wednesday June 30th to Thursday July 1st 2021.
Meanwhile, the dates for the 2021 Toy, Hobby and Licensing Fair have been confirmed.
The event is scheduled to run from Sunday 28th February to Wednesday 3rd March at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
"First round bookings will now take place in August to allow time for the current climate to settle and our members to have a clear idea of what they are requiring next year for the Fair," the ATA said in a statement.
"We will therefore be contacting all 2020 exhibitors in June to discuss your needs for 2021.
"We look forward to working with you all in bringing the industry back together to do business and reconnect next year with the ATA Fairs."
