A Peppa Pig fundraising event is set to come to Australia in August.
Save the Children Australia and Entertainment One (eOne) will get families and kids jumping into muddy puddles to raise funds to help children in need, in Australia's inaugural Peppa Pig's Muddy Puddle Walk.
The Australian partnership extends eOne's relationship with Save the Children globally. In the UK, the Muddy Puddle Walk is an established event that raised £250,000 in 2017.
“We hope everyone will get outside this winter, come rain or shine, and help raise much needed funds for Save the Children,” Nikki Kerridge, Save the Children said. “By jumping in muddy puddles like Peppa Pig and raising money for Save the Children families can help give disadvantaged children a brighter future.”
“We are excited and honoured to work on a partnership with Save the Children Australia, who are so dedicated in supporting children in need,” Trish Padoin, senior VP, eOne Family and Brands Australia said. “We know that Peppa Pig’s Muddy Puddle Walk, will be an exciting, fun and ‘muddy’ event, whilst raising seriously needed funds for children in Australia and around the world.”
The Peppa Pig's Muddy Puddle Walk will take place from 13-19 August.
