Australian children's television show, Bluey, has been greenlit for a second season.
The show, which has been named the most watched show ever on ABC iView, is represented for licensing by BBC Studios Australia and is created by Queensland-based Ludo studios.
Announcing the second season on LinkedIn, director and co-founder of Ludo Studios, Daley Pearson, said that the response to the show has been incredible.
"We're making 52 more Blueys. We've just started making Season Two. The response to the show has been overwhelming. Thank you to all the people who make Bluey happen: Michael C., Henrietta Hurford-Jones, Sally Caplan, Tracey Vieira MAICD, Libbie Doherty and the great people at ABC TV Australia, BBC Studios, Screen Australia, Screen Queensland and the whole gang at Ludo Studio," Pearson posted on LinkedIn.
The show has already scored itself a publishing deal with Penguin Random House Australia which will see books on shelves before Christmas this year.
