The full trailer for Disney Pixar's fourth instalment of the Toy Story franchise has been unveiled, following a series of teaser trailers.
According to the Toy Book, Toy Story 4 takes inspiration from toys of the 50s,70s and 80s.
Featuring pull string dolls (50s), Little People (80s), ventriloquist dolls and a Evil Knievel-inspired stuntman (70s), the trailer draws on toys from history to inform its modern-age question: what makes a toy, a toy?
Introducing a new character, Forky – a craft project plastic spork with googly eyes, pipe cleaner arms and paddle-pop stick feet – the other toys welcome Forky to the fold, only for Forky to insist that he is rubbish and is not a toy.
Along the way, Woody is reunited with his long-lost friend Bo Peep and she introduces Woody to a new way of life for a toy.
In May 2018, Funtastic was appointed as the distributor of Toy Story 4 merchandise in Australia and New Zealand.
Toy Story 4 will be released on 21 June.
