Centa IP has been officially named as the licensing agent for pocket.watch's Love, Diana franchise for Australia and New Zealand. 

As speculated by Toy & Hobby Retailer, the licensing firm has been named as the agent for the property in the ANZ region following the success of the Ryan's World franchise. 

Centa has hit the ground running on the project, with 11 Australian licensing partners already signed on to produce an array of consumer products. 

Centa IP CEO Gail Mitchell said that the business is thrilled to be collaborating with pocket.watch again. 

"We’re very excited to be working with pocket.watch again and building on their proven success in launching popular kids YouTube creator franchises, like Ryan’s World, here in Australia and New Zealand.

"Their newest creator franchise Love, Diana will be the next superstar for girls and we’ve built a strong consumer products line that will launch to the public in October 2020," she said. 

Loved across the globe on YouTube, Kids Diana Show – Diana's YouTube channel – most recently generated over 40 million monthly viewers in Australia and over 7 million in New Zealand in August.

Meanwhile, the network of channels starring Diana – which are translated into nine different languages – generated over 5 billion views in August. 

Backed by the enormous YouTube numbers, Australian licensees signed onto the property are: 

  • Headstart as the global partner for dolls, doll accessories and styling heads along with distribution for Jerry Leigh dress up and Far Out Toys collectibles
  • Just Play – Role Play
  • Jasnor – feeding and hydration also distributing HiJinx plush
  • Mitch Dowd – Apparel and sleepwear
  • Scholastic – Publishing
  • Micador – Arts & crafts, stationery
  • Caprice – Bags
  • Impact Posters – Posters
  • Bensons – Showbags and carnival plush
  • Planet Fun – Distribution of Headstart and Far Out Toys in New Zealand
  • KidKraft – Furniture and dollhouses

"Headstart is super excited to be part of the launch of Love, Diana," CEO Andrew Hendy said. 

"We have an unbelievable line of dolls and styling heads coming out.

"Diana's princess of play content gives us endless ideas to bring magical themes to kids and really encapsulates the idea of imaginative play.

Pocket.watch CRO Stone Newman added that Diana inspires imaginative play among her viewers.
