Only six months after its launch in March, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has smashed through yet another sales milestone to sell 10 million copies.
The news follows South-Korean studio Bluehole’s announcement the game had passed eight million copies earlier this year, meaning it has sold a staggering two million in less than two months.
The figure was announced via PlayerUnknown’s Twitter account in a post from earlier today.
The game has been making a name for itself in the charts since it first appeared on PC roughly five months ago.
By early August, the game had knocked off Fallout 4 to become the most popular game on gaming site Steam.
Battlegrounds also briefly overtook Dota 2 in terms of players, becoming the most active game on Steam with more than 877,000 users.
