Brio, the much beloved toy brand with hundreds of years heritage is making its mark in the digital age with the release of its first app, Brio Playroom.

The app draws inspiration from the brand's wooden trains and trucks, and brings them alive on a smart phone or tablet , making it perfect for play at home or on the road.

The iconic pull-along Dachshund and Ant, as well as many other new friends, will join kids on adventures and star in fun mini games.

On the app, each animal travels through its own unique habitat, which includes four mini-games with interesting, but easy-to-solve puzzles. The habitats feature a full day-night cycle with different weather effects as well as lots of cute animations and funny surprises for children to discover.

Intuitive touch controls help toddlers use smart devices for the first time and if a toddler can’t solve a mini-game, the solution will reveal itself. The app is also loaded with appropriate music and entertaining sound effects that children can understand and enhance the game play.
