Aussie company, Moose Toys has expanded its licensing programs on the popular Shopkins and Pikmi Pops brands.
New Shopkins products that will be available in the US market include Shopkins PEZ dispensers, Shopkins Sketchers and a limited edition back-to-school collection, as well as a unicorn-inspired fashion collection.
A Shopkins Treat Truck that is inspired by the toys, will be operated by Pink Apron Group LLC will tour around the US giving consumers an opportunity to buy exclusive merchandise and sweet goodies from the truck. This activation was successfully executed in the UK in previous years.
Shopkins digital invitations will also be available to US consumers thanks to online invitation company, Punchbowl.
14 new licensees will come on board to produce an array of products emblazoned with the Pikmi Pops brand. Moose has new agreements with Scholastic, Goliath Games, Hybrid Apparel and Fast Forward among others to produce products from books to stationery; cosmetics to swimwear.
The Pikmi Pops brand has been named the number one new toy brand in the UK by the NPD group. Moose will no doubt be looking to capitalise on the global success of the brand in the American market with the newly announced licenses.
"Pikmi Pops has gotten off to a great start and Shopkins is becoming an evergreen brand for us," Nicole Hardiman, senior licensing manager at Moose Toys said.
The Australian market will see similar licensed products from Shopkins and Pikmi Pops in September. "We're working with Merchantwise for the licensing of Pikmi Pops in Australia and New Zealandand this is scheduled to launch in September. We're very excited about it," she said.
