Disney will celebrate iconic pop-culture character, Mickey Mouse's 90th anniversary this year in New York.
In celebration, Disney is putting on an art exhibition titled Mickey: The True Original Exhibition which is inspired by Mickey Mouse's impact on pop-culture and is curated by designer, Darren Romanelli.
The exhibit will feature the classics like Steamboat Willie as well as original artwork by artists Kenny Scharf, Amanda Ross-Ho and Shinique Smith.
The exhibit will run from 08 November to 10 February 2019 and in the 90 day lead-up, new brand and products offerings have been made available across categories like toys, fashion, food, consumer electronics and accessories.
President of consumer products commercialisation, Disney Park, experience and consumer products, Ken Potrock, said that the exhibition is larger-than-life and that it will convey Mickey's optimism and imagination.

“We’ve partnered with the best muralists, sculptors, artists and designers to create original works that convey Mickey’s optimism and imagination.”
