Toy company, Jakks Pacific has revealed that a Creepy Crawlers film is in the works.
The film, which is expected to be in the same vein as Jumanji, will be produced by Paramount Players, a division of Paramount Pictures.
“Creepy Crawlers has been an iconic brand since the 1960’s and we are honoured to work with Neal Moritz, Paramount Players, and the Nickelodeon-Viacom Family in bringing it to life on the big screen,” Stephen Berman, Chairman & CEO, Jakks Pacific said. “We, and the studio, envision the property to be developed into a family adventure film in the vein of Jumanji.”
Neal H. Moritz and Marc Gurvitz will serve as producers, while Toby Ascher and Stephen Berman will take up executive producer roles on the film.
