Legoland Discovery Centre has unveiled its latest play area, Duplo Farm Adventure, created especially for children aged two to five.
The zone has been designed to encourage interactive social play while simultaneously supporting development. Featuring a multi-level farmhouse where kids can climb, crawl, slide and swing, play areas where youngsters can build with Duplo and life-size Duplo animals, the play area helps to develop social and fine motor skills.
Master Builder at Legoland Discovery Centre, Dave Holder, said that the business is thrilled to open the dedicated section.
"Our aim is to inspire young kids to unlock their full potential through creative experiences with Duplo. We’re thrilled to be unveiling this new zone in 2019, which marks 50 years since Lego launched the Duplo brand.
"We have created this area specifically for children aged two to five to play and have fun while developing their fine motor skills through experimentation with shapes, structures and colours."
The centre will also host a Duplo Kids Club on weekdays, which will see experienced team members provide workshops to teach children about numbers, letters, colours and animals through Duplo games, building and storytelling.
The Duplo Farm Adventure play area opened on 09 May and is located in the Legoland Discovery Centre at Chadstone shopping centre.
