Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has announced the appointment of Mark Kingston to the role of Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products senior vice president.
Kingston will be based in London, reporting to Pam Kaufman, Nickelodeon chief marketing officer and president of Nickelodeon Consumer Products, who last year took over global responsibility for Nickelodeon’s billion-dollar consumer products business.
In this new post, Kingston will oversee VIMN’s retail, operations, licensing, and promotions and marketing consumer products business outside the United States.
“Mark’s knowledge of the international licensing landscape is second to none,” Pam Kaufman, Nickelodeon CMO and Nickelodeon Consumer Products president said.
“During his tenure, Mark has significantly expanded our Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) consumer products business, while also identifying and building new international opportunities and relationships, and developing overarching region specific CP strategies.”
Kingston joined Nickelodeon in 2011, as VP of European licensing, retail sales and trade marketing. Prior to joining the company, Kingston held various roles at The Walt Disney Company, BBC Worldwide, and began his career at Mars UK.
