Bluey: The Album has made history, becoming the first children’s album to take out the number one spot on the weekly ARIA charts.
The album, which was released in Australia and the US on 22 January, also hit number one on the Australian iTunes album chart and reached number 5 on the US iTunes album chart within days of its release.
Composed by the show’s composer, Joff Bush, Bluey: The Album features 17 tracks from series one.
Speaking on the achievement, Bush said that he was thrilled with the response.
“I’m a bit blown away.
"This is really thanks to the Bluey fans, Ludo and the awesome Bluey music team who I get to make magic with every day here in Brisbane,” he said.
"We’re over the moon with all the support we’ve received from Bluey fans," the team at Ludo Studio added.
"Thank you to everyone that has helped make this number one and to our amazing composer Joff Bush," the team said.
The album is available to stream or download from digital platforms, including Amazon, Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube Music.
Australian fans can also purchase the CD from participating music retailers.
Bluey: The Album will be released in other regions later this year.
