CBBC has announced it has commissioned a fourth series of Millie Inbetween, and that it will partner with Australia’s ABC ME to co-produce a Secret Life of Boys Christmas Special.

The Secret Life of Boys Christmas Special will comprise 10 new five-minute episodes that will be told through the lens of video chats and text messages as Ginger gets excited to see all of her cousins at Christmas. The special episodes will be available online on BBC iPlayer and ABC ME iview before rolling out to linear channels.

Consisting of two seasons, Secret Life of Boys, was commissioned in 2015 by ABC 3 and CBBC for various online and mobile services. Production is handled by The Foundation in the UK.

Fans of Zodiak Kids Studios’ Millie Inbetween, which was nominated for a BAFTA Children’s Award this year in the Best Performer category, can look forward to a fourth series of the comedy-drama.

In the upcoming 12 half-hour episodes the story will follow Millie’s mother and her partner, Mike, getting married, while Millie'sr Dad, and his partner Amber, move to Spain.
