Over four days in New York, 400 Shopkins fans were able to experience the Shopkins Macaron Café in person.
Reservations to attend the pop-up cafe sold out in less than a minute after going live, with more than 4000 families on a wait-list hoping to score a last-minute appointment.
Among the delights of Shopkins-themed macaroons, croissants and other French delicacies, patrons were treated to a sneak preview of the brand's forthcoming US theatrical tour, Shopkins Live.
Fans received Shopkins manicures and were were able to take photos with Shopkins displays, including a product display wall of over 1,600 Shopkins characters from series 8, World Vacation.
The company says it has no plans as yet to roll out the concept globally, but thanks to the cafe's considerable success is delighted to know the fans have an appetite for more brand activations such as these.
