210 Woolworths supermarkets across New South Wales will bring some Easter magic to consumers, offering a variety of Bensons' Easter showbags to consumers.
Following the cancellation of the Sydney Easter Show, Bensons and Woolworths have teamed up to continue the showbag Easter tradition in-store.
The partnership will see 12 themed showbags - including Bakugan, Barbie, Friends, Hatchimals and Harry Potter - stocked at Woolworths across NSW from today.
Bensons GM of retail and production development, Samantha Atkinson said that the business was thrilled to see the tradition carry on.
"As proud champions of bringing toys and treats in our beloved showbags, we are excited to see the tradition go on.
"While a small act, we hope the range being made available brings big smiles to Australians this Easter period.
"The many would-be show-goers can now still tap into their inner Barbie or love of Hot Wheels by nabbing a showbag while they last," she said.
Woolworths NSW GM Michael Mackenzie said that familiar traditions are important during this time of disruption.
"While we know Easter will be different this year, many Australian families will still be looking for ways to celebrate.
"With familiar traditions more important than ever during this challenging time, we wanted to do something special for those that have been left disappointed by the Sydney Royal Easter Show’s cancellation.
"We are pleased our customers will still be able to purchase these showbags in our stores, and hope it can continue to bring a little bit of joy to family homes over the Easter weekend," he said.
