Kinderfeets’ 2-in-1 Tiny Tot trikes and balance bikes have been popping up everywhere, and now the brand’s most recent innovation, the 2-in-1 Bamboo Tiny Tot trike, has claimed the company’s first industry award: the 2016 Preschool Product Of The Year.
This eco-friendly US-based brand, distributed by Artiwood Australia, claims to offer the smallest balance bike on the market. Its initial configuration is a cute little trike that’s suitable for children as young as 12 months, which
then converts to an entry-level balance bike as children gain their confidence.
“Bamboo Tiny Tots have become a word-of-mouth phenomenon,” Andrew McGregor, Artiwood sales and marketing MD says. “We’re constantly updating our sales forecasts, but even our most optimistic projections have proven too conservative.”
McGregor says sales were doubling every month last year before going off the charts in the lead-up to Christmas.
He believes Tiny Tot’s retail packaging has also helped its sales, noting: “Retailers report that simply stacking a pile of cartons at the end of an aisle has them flying out the door”.
